This is What I Believe
Personal Statement: “I define my creativity as the ability to use film as an immersive medium to portray life lessons, viewpoints, and issues not typically understood via other means. It’s through the process of putting oneself in other’s shoes that we get new perspectives on life, and it’s through the understanding of our own fears and desires that we are able to do that.”
Philosophy on Filmmaking: “To be a filmmaker is to draw upon your personal relationship with the human experience. Without a basic understanding of life as a human, it becomes difficult to become a well-rounded filmmaker. As a human and an artist, I think it is necessary to have an understanding of social awareness and human emotions.”
